Richard has successfully combined a career in recruitment and communication within the corporate world and public sector alongside an award-winning path as creative director and producer for numerous arts projects and events.

He trained with NPIA (National Police Improvement Agency) as a recruit SEARCH assessor to identify, recruit and assess potential police officers through a competency based assessment centre. This included all aspects of the recruitment process from the assessing and grading of applications through to structured interviews.

• Future Leaders and the CWDC: Richard identified candidates with leadership potential for their 'Fast-track' programs.

• Cancer Care Network: promoted and developed the communication skills of those dealing in end of life care 

• National Grid: worked at all levels of management exploring communication strategy and negation skills within the workplace

• NHS: having established a strong relationship with the NHS through the Cancer Care Network, Richard works regularly with various groups helping them improve communication within their teams and to understand their role as a manager and clinician within the newly established CCGs and the adoption of service line management within various trusts.
