NHSE - Northern Cancer Alliance - Development Programme for 80 Cancer Leads

calum

Prospect are delighted to be commissioned to deliver a development programme for the Northern Cancer Alliance. Eighty Clinical Leads who chair cancer Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) will take part in the programme. Since MDTs were created, the number and complexity of patient cases has increased and the range of therapies and treatments is always developing.

The programme will support the Clinical Leads in their role, and the programme will focus on leadership, skills and change - and will include practice sessions with actors, Richard Cottier and colleagues. We will also explore evidence and best practice for Multi-disciplinary Teams, and will be developing a bespoke team audit tool for the Clinical Leads to take away and use.

Cancer affects so many people and families, it really is a privilege for Prospect to be involved in this work, and we look forward to working with everyone”, says Donna Bradshaw, CEO. The programme will commence in March and be delivered in Durham
