Working with the NHS Transformation Unit, we have now developed 15 Transformation Champions to facilitate workforce planning projects in Morecombe Bay and Grange-over-Sands.
The projects were developed by looking at population based data, and in discussion with local staff and GPs. These include looking at future workforce for young people with mental health issues moving from children to adult services; older people with complex needs and people living with diabetes.
The Transformation Champions are working in small teams and are supported in Action Learning Sets facilitated by Prospect and the NHSTU.
